At a recent friends party I received a message with the words Gingerbread Granola - Donna Hay. Since it was in the middle of setup and sound check I assumed that it was a song request. Having searched all the music resources at my disposal I realised that it was in fact a recipe that had been sent for me to pass on to my wife! Having recovered from the humiliation, I decided to write a song about the recipe instead. The result is Gingerbread Granola, a track that captures the warmth and spice of the beloved recipe in musical form.
